The Great Forests Week-End
Entertaining comic-style non-fiction books, with a fiction twist, that naturally take all readers on a journey of discovery.
On a fine autumn afternoon, Rat and Orni seem lost inthe middle of the woods. Fortunately, Beaver knows the forest like the back of his hand and guides them to her house, where Rat and Orni are soon reassured by the nice smell of cookies. Once they have settled down by the fire, Castor starts telling the story of plant evolution. That's all it takes to get Orni itchy, and he throws himself outside, eager to observe nature for himself...
As the pages turn, Rat and Orni meet Vixen, one of Beaver's friends, and go from one discovery to the next. They will learn about trees, how they work, photosynthesis, and how they communicate and reproduce.
They will take them to forests all over the world and teach them to recognise the trees and animals that live nearby. Above all, they will encourage them to think about and question the importance of these very special environments
